Author Guidelines

International Journal of Social Sciences, Management and Arts (IJSSMA)

The International Journal of Social Sciences, Management and Arts (IJSSMA) welcomes original and high-quality manuscripts from both academic and non-academic contributors worldwide. Authors are requested to carefully read and follow the guidelines below before submitting their manuscripts.

1. Scope of the Journal

IJSSMA publishes scholarly and analytical works related to, but not limited to:

  • Social Sciences
  • Management Studies
  • Arts and Humanities
  • Interdisciplinary and Multidisciplinary Research

Submissions that bridge social sciences, management, and arts are strongly encouraged.

2. Types of Manuscripts Accepted

The journal accepts the following types of submissions:

  • Research Articles
  • Review Articles
  • Essays and Analytical Papers
  • Conceptual Papers
  • Interdisciplinary and Cross-disciplinary Studies

All submissions must be original and unpublished.

3. Language of Submission

  • Manuscripts must be written in English.
  • Authors should ensure clarity, coherence, and grammatical accuracy.
  • Submissions with poor language quality may be returned for revision.

4. Manuscript Originality

  • Submissions must be original and not previously published.
  • Manuscripts must not be under review or consideration by any other journal or publication.
  • Any form of plagiarism is strictly prohibited.

5. Manuscript Structure

Authors are advised to structure their manuscripts as follows:

  • Title of the Manuscript
  • Author Name(s) and Affiliation(s)
  • Abstract (150–250 words)
  • Keywords (3–6 keywords)
  • Introduction
  • Literature Review (if applicable)
  • Methodology (if applicable)
  • Results / Analysis
  • Discussion
  • Conclusion
  • References

The structure may vary depending on the nature of the manuscript.

6. Formatting Guidelines

  • File format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)
  • Font: Times New Roman
  • Font Size: 12 pt
  • Line Spacing: 1.5
  • Margins: 1 inch on all sides
  • Page numbers must be included

7. Referencing Style

  • Authors should use a consistent citation and referencing style (APA, MLA, Chicago, or Harvard).
  • All sources cited in the text must be included in the reference list.
  • Proper acknowledgment of all sources is mandatory.

8. Ethical Standards

Authors must adhere to ethical research and publishing practices, including:

  • Proper citation and acknowledgment of sources
  • Disclosure of any conflicts of interest
  • Avoidance of data fabrication or falsification
  • Respect for intellectual property rights

9. Plagiarism Policy

  • IJSSMA follows a strict plagiarism policy.
  • Manuscripts may be screened for plagiarism.
  • Submissions with significant plagiarism will be rejected without further review.

10. Review and Editorial Decision

  • All submissions undergo an editorial review.
  • The editorial team may accept the manuscript, request revisions, or reject it.
  • The editorial decision is final.

11. Copyright Policy

  • Authors retain the copyright of their work.
  • Authors grant IJSSMA the right to publish the manuscript electronically.
  • Proper attribution to authors will always be maintained.

12. Corrections and Retractions

  • Authors are required to cooperate in issuing corrections if errors are identified post-publication.
  • Articles may be retracted in cases of ethical violations.

  • Manuscripts should be submitted as an attachment in Word format.
